Los Árboles Raises Its First Concrete Columns

Construction Progress

With piling complete, Park Lofts Los Árboles has already poured its first reinforced concrete columns: the building’s structure is beginning to rise above its foundations.

After successfully completing the piling work, the team moved forward on a wide front: removing excess material from excavations, new excavations and formwork for foundation caps, installing starter reinforcement for columns and beams, and pouring new foundation caps and beams for the first and second construction stages. In parallel, work progressed on the septic chamber, including pouring its walls, with manual deepening in one section where the required foundation depth demanded it.

The milestone of the period was pouring the building’s first reinforced concrete columns. With the caps, beams and columns already in place, the load-bearing structure is now visibly rising above the foundations, marking the shift from foundation work to vertical construction.

The updated foundation plan shows continuous progress on caps, beams and other structural elements, while the column plan documents the columns already poured and the sections where reinforcement has already been installed. Completed sections keep expanding as planned, while the remaining stretches are already being prepared for the next stages.

The coming weeks will bring continued foundation work and the pouring of new caps and beams, the construction of new reinforced concrete columns, continued work on the septic chamber, and further earthmoving and preparation as the project advances. The project remains on schedule, despite the many rainy days that slowed the early stage of construction.
